DCIE plans to develop a multi-purpose development and cultural center that will be the operating ground for effective cultural exchange and dialogue between Enugu State and Italy, Europe’s third largest economy. The center will be the melting point between the development and cultural priorities of Enugu State and private and public institutions in Italy, promoting knowledge and technical exchange, innovation, skills center as well as a recreational center that will feature Italian restaurant and bar, a quasi-intellectual meeting point for Nigerian returnees from Italy and provide language training for Nigerians travelling for studies, tourism or business in Italy. It will also serve as a point of information for doing business in Italy and in Enugu, with possibilities for business consultancies to enhance economic collaboration.
